Building on the fundamentals of disease surveillance, TM4 introduces One Health approaches to surveillance, preparedness and response. Participants will examine the federal strategy for One Health surveillance, illustrated through practical case studies. The module also examines the opportunities and challenges of cross-sectoral data management, and how surveillance can be integrated across the human–animal–environment interface, with examples including wastewater-based epidemiology and wildlife health surveillance.
