The VPHI (Veterinary Public Health Institute incl. Animal Welfare Division, University of Bern), the ILS (Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene, University of Zurich) and the EPI (Section of Veterinary Epidemiology, University of Zurich) are again organizing the joint “Annual Conference”, which offers a great opportunity to present and discuss ongoing projects in the field of veterinary public health including veterinary epidemiology, animal welfare, and food safety.
The event will take place on Thursday, December 4th in Bern (Tierspital, NLG), and we are looking forward to welcoming you all there!
The conference will feature oral presentations and posters presentations. Two prizes will be awarded to the best submissions (best poster / best talk), and we particularly encourage young scientists to seize this opportunity.
Abstracts can be submitted until September 30th, 2025 using the abstract template available in the attachment. Information on accepted abstracts will be provided by mid- October. Please send your submissions via E-mail to: ioannis.magouras@unibe.ch.

The attendance to the conference is free of charge, coffee and lunch will be provided.
The main language of the conference is English, individual presentations may be in German.
