Current Projects:

  • Ecologically-informed policy for risk management of West Nile virus
  • West Nile virus risk mapping based on climate change predictions
  • Antimicrobial resistance in peridomestic rats at the environment-livestock-wildlife-human interface

Education:

  • 2024-2025: Post-graduate degree in One Health from the Università degli Studi di Roma "La Sapienza" SSAS, Italy. Thesis: Risk management of WNV in Europe and Italy: surveillance, prevention, policy and the “dilution effect”
  • 2023: Internship at the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale delle Venezie, Italy. Project focused on profiling antimicrobial resistance in breeding dogs. Research funded by the International Canine Health Award received (2023 Undergraduate Student Inspiration Award)
  • 2020: Industry Community Project Unit “Food for Thought”at the University of Sydney, Australia
  • 2018-2023: Single cycle master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from University of Padova, Italy
